Crowns Gallery

Crowns are placed when the entire structure of a tooth is compromised or when missing teeth are replaced with fixed bridgework. The cases in the Crowns Gallery are examples of treatment that can be provided using porcelain crowns.

  • Before: The patient was concerned about the dark stain of the right central and lateral incisors, which are the teeth on the upper right side of the image.
  • After: The right central and lateral incisors have new porcelain crowns that match the color of the adjacent teeth, and the patient was very pleased with the results.
  • Before: This patient had the right front tooth bonded many years earlier. They were never happy with it, and wanted something more esthetic and longer lasting.
  • After: We discussed the options and decided to place a porcelain crown on the front tooth to the right. The result is much more natural especially when compared to the before image.
  • Before: This patient of ours had a number of crowns tried on the left front tooth. This was the most recent that was placed, which she did not like at all.
  • After: We removed the old crown, and placed a new porcelain crown, which she was very happy with.
  • Before: Large number of old tooth colored fillings, wear on the biting edges and an old bridge to the left were all less than ideal.
  • After: New porcelain crowns and a ceramo metal bridge on the upper left in the picture improved the appearance tremendously.
